New Village Hall Information for Hirers

All prospective hirers should read the information on this page before making a booking.

PLEASE NOTE: You must include any time required for setting up and clearing away within the period that you hire the hall for.  The Caretaker will meet you at the Village Hall at the start time of your hire.

Deposits & Payments:  A £75 refundable deposit is required in order to confirm a booking.  If a hire is for more than six hours, or if alcohol is being consumed at the event, an additional £125 deposit is required (£200 in total).  All refundable deposits will be returned to the Hirer within 14 days of the hire by BACS, less any deductions for breakages or damage (including accidental damage) to the Village Hall or its fixtures, fittings, or contents that occurred during the hire, any loss of items from the Village Hall, or any extra cleaning costs required after the hire, at the discretion of Hall Management.

Christmas & Bank Holidays Bookings:  A 10% surcharge is added on to any bookings made that take place on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and any Bank Holidays.

Inflatables:  If you bring any inflatable with you, such as a bouncy castle, an additional £20 will be added to the hire cost.

Regular Hirers:  Please note, regular hirers are considered to be groups or individuals who hire the hall at least once a month.
